Services

Cloud Computing services at Cornell.

Cornell has deployed a cloud computing service called "Red Cloud" to better meet the research, education, and outreach needs of University researchers. Red Cloud offers several advantages: faster networks, no charges for data movement in and out of the cloud, and dedicated rather than oversubscribed cores. Researchers will find Red Cloud ideal for on-demand “burst” computing, application scaling (such as MATLAB), research wikis, data hubs, science gateways, and other applications that foster community and broaden impact.
